Application Process:

Registration:
- Visit the official RRB website of the region you wish to apply to.
- Click on the “New Registration” link.
- Fill in basic details such as name, date of birth, community, email ID, and mobile number.
- Upon successful registration, a unique Registration Number will be generated.
Filling the Application Form:
- Log in using the Registration Number and password.
- Complete the application form by providing personal, educational, and other required details.
Uploading Documents:
- Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-sized photograph and signature.
- If applicable, upload category certificates (e.g., SC/ST certificate).
Payment of Application Fee:
- Pay the application fee through online modes such as net banking, credit card, or debit card.
- The application fee details will be specified in the official notification.
Final Submission:
- Review all the entered information carefully.
- Submit the application form.
- Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
Selection Process:
The selection process for RRB ALP typically involves the following stages:
1. First Stage CBT (Computer-Based Test): A screening test covering subjects like Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness.
2. Second Stage CBT: This stage consists of two parts:
- Part A: Covers Mathematics, Basic Science & Engineering, General Intelligence & Reasoning.
- Part B: Trade-specific questions based on the ITI or diploma syllabus.
3. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Applicable only for ALP posts.
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination: Candidates who clear all CBTs and CBAT (if applicable) will be called for document verification and medical fitness tests.
